finance degree, never used.
here's what i did instead.

faceless youtube just paid better than any grad program.

and nobody made me attend meetings.

no faces in most of them. definitely not mine.

by 26 the channels had done the thing the degree was meant to do. several times over.

today it's a small team, a pile of software i built, and a growing suspicion the software soon won't need me.

james is a close friend. we built it together and it still goes today.

no face on it. no personality to lean on. just copy that had to work.

all pre-AI. every email written by a human, which sounds quaint now.

learnt copy, meta ads, sponsorships, and how to grow a list from nothing.

the personal list on the front page is the smaller one. about 5,000 people. same rules.

instagram went 0 to 150K in 100 days.

turns out the internet will watch anything if you're consistent & a bit unhinged.

did a half ironman. did the sydney ultra. kept going.

3.8 km swim. 180 km ride. 42.2 km run.

instagram and youtube are both just sitting there.

if i've got something worth saying i'll say it, and the list gets it first.

until then i'm building. just hit back to back record months.
